Woman looking at digital x-rays

Digital x-rays are taken periodically to help detect cavities. The frequency with which we recommend them differs from patient to patient. If you’re faithful with your cleanings and checkups, you have no history of cavities, and you maintain a good hygiene regimen, we’ll likely only need to x-ray once year. However, if you are prone to tooth decay, we may recommend x-rays every six months.

With digital x-rays, your experience will require less time and expose you to less radiation. That’s a win-win in our books.
