Meet the Team

Maria attended school at Concorde Career College in San Antonio to earn certification as a registered dental assistant. She completed that program in 2011 and joined our practice the same year. Her duties include chair side assisting, taking X-rays, sterilizing instruments, scheduling appointments, taking alginate impressions, making bleaching trays, pouring and trimming models, greeting patients, and answering phones.

She enjoys working with patients and helping them get out of pain.

Maria has three daughters, and her favorite spare-time activity is spending time with them, as well as vacationing at South Padre Island.

Julie joined our practice in 2013 after earning her associate’s degree in dental hygiene from Coastal Bend College in Beeville.

Julie loves talking with our patients and getting to know them, as well as helping patients take care of their teeth.

She and her husband, Dennis, have been married since 1983. They love to vacation at Garner State Park and Brownwood Lake Park. In her spare time, she enjoys fixing up their new home. Her hobbies include reading, gaming on her Kindle, sewing, and cooking.

Mariz enjoys talking with patients and making sure each one feels welcome and at home in our office. She assists patients with their insurance claims, sets appointments, answers any treatment questions they may have, and provides our clinical team with assistance, when needed. Her Registered Dental Assistant certification allows Mariz to effectively communicate with patients, helping them better understand any treatments suggested by Dr. Munoz.

When Mariz is not at work, she is a busy military wife with three children. In her spare time, she enjoys working on her home and garden, reading a good book, scrapbooking, and camping with her friends and family.

Gracy attended Southwest Texas Junior College in Uvalde, where she obtained an Associate of Applied Science. She joined the practice in April 2019 as the patient coordinator, but prior to that, she worked at a pediatric office for 9 years. As part of her job, Gracy assists patients by gathering all the necessary information to make their visit as smooth as possible and coordinating their dental treatment. 

Gracy is married, with 3 children and 4 grandchildren. She spends a lot of time with her grandchildren when she’s not at work and enjoys taking them to the park with her dog Skipper and feeding the ducks. She also has 2 cats that she loves to cuddle. In her spare time, she likes to go antiquing with her daughter.
